HTTP/1.1とセマンティクス HTTPは最初0.9から始まり、HTTP/1.0、HTTP/1.1と進んできました。 H
Robin Marx is a Web Performance and network protocol researcher at Hasselt University, Belgium. He is mainly looking into HTTP/3 and QUIC performance, and develops the qlog and qvis tools to make this easier. In a previous life he was a multiplayer game programmer and co-founder of LuGus Studios. YouTube videos of Robin are either humoristic technical talks or him hitting other people with longswo
Elastic Load Balancing now supports Application-Layer Protocol Negotiation (ALPN) policies on Network Load Balancers. ALPN is a TLS extension supported by all major browsers that enables negotiation of the protocol used after establishing a TLS connection, such as HTTP/2. Using ALPN policies, you can now offload your application’s TLS HTTP/2 traffic decryption/encryption to the Network Load Balanc
HTTP/3: the past, the present, and the future09/26/2019 This post is also available in 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어, Français, Español. During last year’s Birthday Week we announced preliminary support for QUIC and HTTP/3 (or “HTTP over QUIC” as it was known back then), the new standard for the web, enabling faster, more reliable, and more secure connections to web endpoints like websites and APIs. We also let
HTTP/2 implementations do not robustly handle abnormal traffic and resource exhaustion Vulnerability Note VU#605641 Original Release Date: 2019-08-13 | Last Revised: 2019-11-19 The Security Considerations section of RFC7540 discusses some of the considerations needed for HTTP/2 connections as they demand more resources to operate than HTTP/1.1 connections. While it generally covers expected behavi
The document discusses the performance of HTTP/2 compared to HTTP/1.1 across different network conditions. It summarizes results from testing 8 real websites under 16 bandwidth and latency combinations with varying packet loss rates. Overall, HTTP/2 performs better for document complete time and speed index, especially on slower connections, though results vary depending on the specific site and m
This article was co-written by Matteo Collina, a Technical Steering Committee member of Node.js and Principal Architect @nearForm, and Jinwoo Lee, a Software Engineer at Google. Since introducing HTTP/2 into Node.js 8 in July of 2017, the implementation has undergone several rounds of improvements. Now we’re almost ready to lift the “experimental” flag. It’s best to try out HTTP/2 support with Nod
