What is the purpose of this page; i.e. what is the advantage over cascading protecting single items like templates? Improved tracking? Just curious -- Rillke(q?) 21:44, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The page was initially created by Ebraminio. I think a central place for item protections? --Steinsplitter (talk) 22:06, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Suggestion
[edit]
{{Edit protected}} I assume this is uncontroversial enough that it doesn't need a full discussion. Is it possible to implement something like en:Module:Lockbox for templates on this page? That is, replacing direct transclusion with {{#invoke:lockbox|lock
|First template
|Second template
}}
so that the list does not need to display each template used, which can look a bit crude? I realize it's mostly prettyfing. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 10:16, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Jo-Jo Eumerus, you are welcome to work on it. If it works and you would like us to change something and this page than use {{Edit protected}} to request specific change. --Jarekt (talk) 16:52, 3 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
