The 2024 United States Senate election in Maine will be held on November 5, 2024, to elect a member of the U.S. Senate to represent the state of Maine . This election will coincide with the presidential election , U.S. House elections for the state's two congressional districts , and various other state, county and local elections. Primary elections took place on June 11, 2024.[1 ] Incumbent two-term Senator Angus King , who is an independent but caucuses with the Democratic Party , was re-elected with 54% of the vote in 2018 . He is running for a third term.
