F. L. "Ben" Waide (born May 17, 1963) is an American politician and a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives from January 2011 to January 2015, representing District 10.[1] In the 2014 redistricting of the house, the 10th district was redrawn such that Waide lived in the 9th district alongside incumbent Myron Dossett. He did not run for reelection, instead running unsuccessfully for Judge/ExecutiveofHopkins County.

Representative Waide pleaded guilty to violations of campaign laws by using campaign funds for purposes other than his campaign. He was sentenced to 12 months' supervision.[5][6][7]
