Combine (Russian: Комбинат, romanizedKombinat) is a term for industrial business groups, conglomeratesortrusts in the former socialist countries. Examples include VEB Kombinat Robotron, an electronics manufacturer, and IFA, a manufacturer of vehicles, both in East Germany, and the Erdenet copper combineinMongolia.
