Derrick Leander Monasterio (born August 1, 1995[1]) is a Filipino actor, singer and host. He was born in Quezon City, Philippines, the son of former Filipina actress Tina Monasterio.[2]

    He is of Italian, Jamaican, Lebanese, Scottish, African descent through his paternal side and Filipino, Spanish, English and Italian descent through his mother side.

    Monasterio attended high school at Angelicum College. He is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Legal Management at San Beda University.[3]
