It was founded in 2001, is published by Florida Atlantic University, and is indexed among others by Mathematical Reviews[2] and Zentralblatt MATH.[3] Its founding editor-in-chief was Paul Yiu, a professor of mathematics at Florida Atlantic.[4]

In 2019, Forum Geometricorum published what was later announced to be its final issue, and stopped accepting submissions, after the retirement of Yiu.[4] Prior issues are still available.
