Judith Resnik is an American legal academic and the Arthur Liman Professor of Law at Yale Law School, where she is also the founding director of the Arthur Liman Center for Public Interest Law.

Biography

Resnik received her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College in 1972 and her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1975. She subsequently clerked for Judge Charles E. Stewart of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She served on the faculty of the University of Southern California Law School from 1980 to 1997. She has served as the first Arthur Liman Professor of Law at Yale Law School since 1997.[1] She was elected a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2001[2] and was named a fellow of the Carnegie Corporation of New York in 2018, which included a $200,000 grant.[3][4]
