Kharaji (Persian: خراجي)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Kiar-e Gharbi Rural District of the Central DistrictofKiar County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. The village is populated by Lurs.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,078 in 772 households, when it was in the former Kiar District of Shahrekord County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,113 people in 964 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Kiar County.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,880 people in 947 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
