The film starts from division of kingdom, Subhadra Arjuna kalyanam, Jarasandha vadha, Rajasuya yagnam, dice game, pandava exile and Kurukshetra war.
While Krishna was busy with Kurukshetram , NTR was busy with the production of Daana Veera Soora Karna.[1] While the former was shot in Mysore, Rajasthan, and other locations, Daana Veera Soora Karna was made locally in Ramakrishna Cine Studios. The people who worked for both the films were Gummadi (ParasuramainDVSK), Kaikala Satyanarayana (Bheema in DVSK), Dhulipala (ShakuniinDVSK), Mukkamala (ShalyainDVSK).
