Late Night Lycett is a BAFTA award-winning[2] comedy variety show on Channel 4 first broadcast on 31 March 2023. The show is hosted by Joe Lycett and filmed in his home city Birmingham.[3][4]

The show includes brief interviews with celebrity guests, a spoof of GB News with "Richard Yewtree" (His surname being a pun on Operation Yewtree), a competition in which three audience members tell an embarrassing story in a chance to win Lycett's own car, and, in series 1, the running gag in which comedian Katherine Ryan never reaches the studio.[5]
The show also features a celebrity minding Lycett's local corner shop in Kings Heath because the owner is in the studio audience.[6][7][8] Lycett's aunts, Pauline and Margaret,[9] are also in the audience each week and are brought attention to during the starting period of the show, alongside his "local corner shop" owner, Hardev.
As part of Lycett's supposed scheme to hire trainees with no previous experience, Linda Biscuits (portrayed by Chilli the Labrador) is featured to have been chosen to be a part of the behind-the-scenes team and is often seen during episodes.[10]
Featured in each episode is artwork decorating the set from local Birmingham artists such as Tat Vision, Fokawolf, Hannah Alshemmeri, Dion Kitson, Imbue and others.
The show is filmed live at The Bond in Digbeth.[11] It is produced by Channel 4, Rumpus Media and My Options Were Limited, Joe Lycett's production company.[12]
