Lyudinovsky District (Russian: Людиновский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the twenty-fourinKaluga Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 955 square kilometers (369 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the townofLyudinovo.[2] Population: 39,213 (2021 Census);[7] 45,041 (2010 Russian census);[4] 4,864 (2002 Census);[8] 6,418 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Lyudinovo accounts for 71.7% of the district's total population.[7]
