Rammohan College is an undergraduate and postgraduate college for women in Kolkata, India. It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta.[1] It shares premises with City College, Kolkata (day college) and Anandamohan College (evening college).

Rammohan College owes its origin to City College, Calcutta , one of the oldest first grade general degree College in West Bengal. It was founded in 1881 by a band of patriotic and selfless Brahmo samaj leaders like Anandamohan Bose, Pandit Sivnath Sastri and Umesh Chandra Dutta. City College, Kolkata had a women's section in morning. Later, in 1961, this women's section was separately affiliated with the University of Calcutta and renamed as Rammohan College.[2]
The college offers different undergraduate and postgraduate courses and aims at imparting education to the undergraduates and postgraduates of upper-, lower- and middle-class people of Kolkata and its adjoining areas.[3]
Science faculty consists of the departments of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, and Economics.
Arts and Commerce faculty consists of departments of Bengali, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Education, and Commerce.
