Felland

edit

http://www.surroundedbyreality.com/Misc/Crimes/Felland.asp has a copy of the WI State Journal story regarding the death of Gunder Felland. In general, I don't think it is necessary to mention individual victim / perpetrator names in this type of article. The crux of the issue as that there was a death relating to the strike. His tombstone shows the spelling of his name as well.[1] I think the source local to the incident is likely the more reliable of the two citations. --Dual Freq (talk) 02:15, 25 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

I bow to your better source and your better facts. I could not find the referenced State Journal resource online, and so did not have the 'Felland' name to Google with. The inclusion of the name comes from an attempt to identify these victims of labor-associated violence as completely as possible, to avoid duplicate counting and similar confusion. best Lockley (talk) 03:59, 25 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
As I mentioned elsewhere, this isn't "labor-associated" violence in the usual sense. Anmccaff (talk) 05:37, 25 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Fixed broken URL under May Strike, but still needs work

edit

I fixed the reference URL to the Daily North Western under the "May strike" section as part of a CS1 cleanup. But it still goes to a landing page for the site, rather than to the specific newspaper article being mentioned. A specific link from someone with acceess to taht newspaper archive will be needed. Can anyone access and update please?
