The name of the earthquake Cairo Earthquake is inaccurate as 1- It did not originate in Cairo, but in the desert near the village of Dahshur, Giza. Thus scientific papers call it the Dahshur Earthquake 2- It affected tens of cities and villages in 16 governorates (states) in Egypt, and not just Cairo. therefore I propose the title be changed to Dahshur (Egypt) October 1992 Earthquake — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ypedia1 (talk • contribs) 10:01, 28 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
