Mob connections

An interesting angle on ANICO was its ties to the Maceos during the Free State era of Galveston. Through what was apparently their influence the company became involved in financing development on the Vegas strip back when it was the mob doing the investing. I added a small blurb on this. So far I have only found some small mention of this history in literature but if anybody has more detailed sources out there I think there is more that can be discussed in this article.

Of course, the article needs more detail in a lot of areas at this point ...
