I would like to nominate this article for a DYK, however it needs to be brought up to standard (See WP:DYK). Due to the time limit of 5 days, a lot of work will have to be done quickly and well.--Riurik03:57, 17 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I believe that the correct name for this article would be Constitution of Pylyp Orlyk (Конституція Пилипа Орлика) instead of Bendery Constitution (Бендери Конституція). Конституція Пилипа Орлика has much more google hits (9,400) than Бендери Конституція (191). Any thoughts on the matter? —dima /talk/ 02:36, 19 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Initially in choosing the name, I felt that I had to rely on an authoritative source, and at the time only the Encyclopedia of Ukraine was available (Constitution of Bendery). I did not like the name, but used it after switching the words to eliminate the "of." Today, I picked up a book from a library (Istoriia Ukrainskoi Konstytytsii by Sliusarenko (1993)). The book cites the longer title Пакти й Конституції законів та вольностей Війцька Запорозького, and for its shorter title it uses Конституція Пилипа Орлика. Having this new authoritative source and armed with a google search, it would be legit to move the article from Bendery Constitution --> Constitution of Pylyp Orlyk; a redirect should also be placed just in case.--Riurik04:03, 19 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

The title of the document reads: "Contenta Pactorum inter Ducem et Exercitum Zaporoviensem conventorum, in Compendium brevi Stylo collecta", i.e., "Summarized Contents of ...". Is the full text of the Swedish document available, so that it can be compared with the Ukrainian version posted by Verkhovna Rada? Lembit Staan (talk) 21:21, 29 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
