I don't believe the Iraqi National Assembly still meets in the Green Zone. Am I wrong? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.107.55.84 (talk) 06:35, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
First paragraph sentence 2: "The current assembly is an elected body of 275 seats, in comparison to the assembly under former President Saddam Hussein." - What is being compared? It sounds like a word is missing from this sentence immediately after the comma.
Saddam was a Dictator. For the purposes of an article about the structure of a government, he was the President. The fact that he was a dictator is best discussed, as it is, in the article about Saddam that I have now wikilinked to his name. Hipocrite 19:24, 16 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
The December elections were for the Majlis an-Nuwwab (al-Nuwwab, al-Nuwwaab), often translated as the National Assembly but in the AP translation of the Constitution as Council of Representatives. I believe Majlis Watani was the name just of the transitional National Assembly, I'm checking on that now. --Cam 16:30, 1 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

This seems a good idea to me... the seems no disambiguation issue, so why use a disambiguated name. Andrewa 06:21, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
