Dropped

edit

In this article they write: "but the prosecution dropped upon the repeal of the tax."

I'm left thinking "dropped what"?

Todd Marshall Plantersville, TX

What did he say?

edit

So... what did he say to get him convicted of blasphemy? --Xer0 20:13, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

He said, “I do not believe there is such a thing as a God” (The Last Trial for Atheism in England, 1871, 13)

He was not the last person convicted of blasphemy in England. That's John William Gott. See here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_William_Gott

There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 18:08, 21 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
