I think this should be merged with Jatha because 1) it is the correct term 2) "gangs" has a negative and criminal connotation that jatha doesn't 3) I believe Jatha is used in more wikipedia articles
However, although we should keep a lot of this information it's important to eliminate some of the history which is already covered in say misl

This article has a much richer edit history, which is something we want to keep. Support This was probably the correct course of action. Since the previous article at Jatha had nothing to actually be merged in, merging the other way around would have been messy. At any rate, that title is more concise and neutral. --BDD (talk) 22:31, 13 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
