The Wikipedia pages for the United Kingdom and the United Nations & Permanent members of the United Nations Security Council still have Matthew Rycroft listed as the UK's Permanent Representative to the United Nations which got me researching into Karen Pierce (who is listed on her page as well as the List of current Permanent Representatives to the United Nations as the perm. rep.). Although I have found a Guardian article stating she has been appointed (which this article sites) and a notice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office that she has been appointed, I have found no UN documents or news stories mentioning a presenting of credentials and the UK Mission to the UN in New York suspiciously only has the chargé d'affaires Jonathan Allen listed and all social media/UN documents as of recent seem to point towards him being the UK's current representative to the UN. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eruditionoresoteric (talk • contribs) 04:59, 14 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
The article for Broughton, Lancashire claims that Pierce was raised in the village, but there is no source there. I am unable to find any source which gives a place of birth. Martinevans123 (talk) 15:00, 7 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
