from the article. No factual reasons for puting it there - the only source found is a survey (!) conducted by one of the polish (comercial) radio stations. The line was added just after the end of the survey, obviously by the pollster.

According to my research, I cannot find anything else stating that the blueberry is the U.S. national fruit. Since there is no justification for this claim on Wikipedia, this should be deleted.
It also seems possible that there are other incorrect and/or unsubstantiated claims on this page that should be researched... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.17.82.7 (talk) 02:05, 13 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
From the Canada website (https://www.canada.ca/en/canadian-heritage/services/official-symbols-canada.html) which lists national official symbols, there is nothing about blueberries or really any national fruit. I did some rudimentary online searching and found some websites claiming blueberries but none of those sites are authoritative. --MrMineHeads (talk) 18:53, 2 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

There are too many missing citations needed for many entries.
I was researching Morocco's national fruit and I've found 2 sources that claim oranges, specifically Navel Oranges and tangerine (from Tangier in Morocco).
I found one other source claiming it's pomegranate.
However I haven't come across any source claiming it's kiwi fruit like what is listed on this article.
Some countries also have no official national fruit and should be labeled as such. Norway is an example. 99.245.232.32 (talk) 18:49, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

The National fruit of South Africa is not Ackee (that belongs to Jamaica). The National Fruit of South Africa is the Marula, scientific name is Sclerocarya birrea. The Ackee is not even native to South Africa! Could you please change this. Thank you very much. 102.210.64.232 (talk) 12:07, 3 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
