Well, that's not so short life. She lived longer than most of the notable people of her time, including her husband and her daughter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.250.116.18 (talk) 20:05, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
It is the shortened form of hydropsy, now known as edema, and refers to an excessive build up of fluids in connective tissues. The sufferer would appear abnormally bloated. Rcpaterson 01:39, 28 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
If she was born in Lorraine she was not born in France. I know this is picky but Lorraine was de jure independent of France in 1515. I think it is important to have give sense of how fluid borders and national loyalties could be at this time. Mary was Lorrainer, French, Scottish, and for all I know had some other loyalties. The article needs to offer citations for its many assertions as to Mary's feelings, state of mind, physical resemblance to Madeleine, etc. Unless these issues are resolved, the article will never make B-Class. I have tagged it as C-Class.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 08:50, 2 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
I suggest the implementation of {{Reflist|colwidth=45em}}
on this article, because of the length of the reference list. Opinions, rejections? —bender235 (talk) 00:46, 19 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
"After an English assault on Leith was repulsed with heavy losses"
This is confusing. Who had heavy losses, the English or the Scottish? Can we make this clear? Omc (talk) 15:58, 24 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
