My master's and DPhil work has been focused largely on the life of Peter Mbiyu Koinange. Having read a large corpus of secondary and primary sources, I hope to contribute to this article out of that knowledge and will be updating with citations over the coming months. --DOstendorff (talk) 15:23, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
I think this page may need to be renamed/moved from "Mbiyu Koinange" to "Peter Mbiyu Koinange" for clarification purposes. While, come teh 1950s-1960s, Peter Mbiyu Koinange did go by Mbiyu Koinange, from 1907 to the 1950s he went by Peter Mbiyu - for more than half of his life. In addition, he has a brother - John Mbiyu Koinange - who dropped "John" in the early 1950s and also went by simply "Mbiyu Koinange". Then both of them have a dad whose name was "Koinange wa Mbiyu" - increasing the confusion brought by simply using "Mbiyu Koinange". DOstendorff (talk) 01:36, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
