Learn more about this page

Er, don't you think this should be linked to more information on NOESY and TOCSY? I think this should not be merged with the article mentioned. Cos I wanted to learn about NOESY and TOCSY, at least Nuclear Overhauser Effect artcle is around, I didn't miss the boat. Just my two cents worth.

I agree with the previous comment. These two topics should not be merged, and it would be ideal if this NOE stub was expanded. Unfortunately, I am not expert enough on the topic to contribute.

I don't think this article should be merged because nOe is significant enough of an effect and is special enough that it should have its own treatment and article.

Major re-write

edit

The NOE page has languished for sometime without significant improvements that include more instructive detail. But it seems the NMR scholars are disinterested in improving Wikipedia pages, at least this one. Nevertheless, the number of page views daily is ca. 100 and many people are directed by Google to Wikipedia, although there are many good on-line resources. I have endeavored to rewrite the page based on standard sources and books. Please proof-read, make corrections, improvements and additions, but try to keep encyclopedic.
