You will not win this argument. There are many sources that define "Old Stock Americans" as all people of colonial descent white or black. Black Americans are a quintessentially American ethnic group that were here since the founding of this nation. The term old stock American is defined as Americans with Ancestry in the colonial period. I already found 3 sources that include black people in the definition "those Americans, both black and white, whose ancestry dates from Colonial America" - from a Texas genealogy book 1976. You are going to lose this argument. Will do. There's even sources that call black people "old stock Anglo-American" from the 1950s. These are typically genealogy books.
