The article for the Thief River indicates there are falls at confluence of Thief River with the Red Lake River, but nothing in this article mentions those falls- are they still extant? In reviewing Google's satellite image of the area, I find a structure which could be a dam (or perhaps spillway) located further downstream (below/south of the County Hwy 17 bridge). If this is a dam, perhaps it has covered the falls? Regardless of what the structure is, its mention in the article would be a good improvement, as well as adding more information about the "falls".
