Wondering how to edit the article? The WikiProject Philippine LGUs could be of help. :)
I moved this page from "Rizal" to "Rizal (Province)"; on the other hand, "Rizal" now redirects to the biography of the Philippine national hero José Rizal. This is because for most Filipinos (especially for students in all levels), "Rizal" refers to the person, not the province. --- Tito Pao 11:31, 29 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I've searched in vain for a law that designates Antipolo as capital of Rizal province, Sec. 52 of RA 7829, which converted Pasig City into an HUC still designates it as the provincial capital of Rizal. Not even RA 8508, which converted Antipolo into a city has designated it to be the provincial capital. --Scorpion prinz (Talk | contribs) 00:13, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Image:Ph seal rizal.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I deleted the old section of the article called Economy. It had to link whatsoever to the economy of Rizal. It was a timeline of events that may have been copied from another website. It had no citations, and did not comply to Wikipedia's policy on neutrality.
If you wish to see it; here is the link to the edit before me: Economy of Rizal — Preceding unsigned comment added by Asmark2 (talk • contribs) 03:06, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
UPDATE I checked some old articles, and apparently, the article that is called Rizal used to have a better article on the economy. Someone trolled wikipedia by deleting to old old one and replacing it with something ridiculous. I shall be inputting the old article. The person who trolled was: 202.137.113.146. The date he edited was the 7th of December, 2012.

Dear fellow Wikipedians,
I proposed that "Rizal" shall be moved back to "Rizal (province)". The name "Rizal" shall be redirected to Jose Rizal page. A Wikipedian moved this page to "Rizal (province) in 2006, making Rizal to be redirected to Jose Rizal. It is now been moved back to the original as of today.
I will support my decision, because is my decision to move this to the former. You will decide whether you support or oppose this proposal. If you vote "SUPPORT" or "OPPOSE" this proposed move, the votes will be counted.
Please understand this instructions.
Thank you. Rdp060707 (talk) 15:58, 2 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
@HueMan1: No need to continue this for now. BTW, I did not know how I can open a discussion on proposed move before, but I know it as of today. ----Rdp060707|talk 05:30, 21 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
I have edited the infobox to remove reference to Pasig since RA 11475 officially designates Antipolo as the capital city and Pasig City has long been part of NCR.--Droomla (talk) 11:28, 2 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Rizal → Rizal (province) – Rizal more commonly refers to José Rizal himself. "Rizal" should be made either as a redirect to his article or the title for the disambiguation page. The article on the province should be at "Rizal (province)". José Rizal is the first thing that comes to mind of many Filipinos when they encounter the word "Rizal" instead of the province that is named after him.
