Indeed, it's also somewhat inaccurate as, the the Roger Ebert quote notwithstanding, Techniscope was a patented and trademarked process reliant on Technicolor's dye transfer process. Just shooting in 2 perf and blowing up to anamorphic does not equal Techniscope.
For example The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, mentioned on this page and the connected "List of Techniscope Films" [sic] page was not filmed in Techniscope but on Cromoscope. a similar, possibly either licenced OR patent infringing variant. Verlaine76 (talk) 16:18, 12 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
