We Charge Genocide

edit

The Cambridge Companion to Malcolm X says that this Malcolm X speech "owes something" to the famous 1951 "We Charge Genocide" petition given to the United Nations by the African American and Communist-led Civil Rights Congress, represented by William L. Patterson and Paul Robeson. Something to this point could be added to the article. Binksternet (talk) 02:16, 22 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

I haven't had a chance to read The Cambridge Companion yet, but absolutely, Robeson and others had made a similar effort earlier. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:20, 22 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

is it just me or does describing malcolm x as a human rights activist seem kind of revisionist and milquetoasty — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.220.11.77 (talk) 06:08, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
