The original Russian is pronounced Vladimir, so why is the transliteration Wladimir? There isn't even a w-letter in the Russian alphabet. 65.113.71.3 (talk) 20:03, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

First, please forgive my poor English. Austria was annexed into Nazi Germany before Köppen's death. Therefore when he died, the city of Graz was part of Nazi Germany. That is why I changed Austria to Nazi Germany. I want to understand that my edit should not be categorised as a vandalism. Thank you.--124.141.180.241 (talk) 12:24, 3 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
