Talk:World Day for Audiovisual Heritage

This article was proposed for deletion on 8 April 2014 on the grounds of "no evidence for notability". I consider the article is notable for inclusion in WP because it describes an annual event, officially launched by the United Nations and by UNESCO nearly a decade ago, that has been commemorated in many countries [maps on http://www.iasa-web.org/about-world-day-audiovisual-heritage http://www.iasa-web.org/about-world-day-audiovisual-heritage http://www.iasa-web.org/world-day-audiovisual-heritage-2012]. It is also referenced in several other WP articles; and has reliable, diverse sources (I have added a few more) and the event described has gained sufficiently significant attention by the world at large and over a period of time.
