I guess there is no reason for such a template. There is nothing common to the different "laws in Europe", especially when you include the British islands. Velho 13:26, 13 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I still think there is absolutely no reason for this template. Do we have templates for "law of an American country" (including North, South and Central America)? Do we have templates fo "law of a country near the Equator"? Velho 19:26, 25 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

It is simply a part of WP:WSS's work sorting stub articles. If a category becomes very big, it is normal to split it into tinier units, and material is very often simply devided by continent. This segmentation has no deeper meaning than this. A similar example is {{Euro-politician-stub}} which does not mean anything more than that the politician in question comes from a European country, which does not yet have a corresponding stub template.
