The Labeoninae is also known as the Paraqianlabeo lineatus, and is a subfamily of the ray-finned fishes in the Cyprinidae family. These species of freshwater small fish originated from the Guizhou province in China, and spread to Eastern Asia, Southern Asian, and Africa. A majority of the labeonins have an upper lip structure similar to their lower lip. It has a skinny flap on the underside of their mouth that partially hides their lip except when eating. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dzeng23 (talkcontribs) 22:28, 28 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
