Gladesmore Community School is a comprehensive, 11–16 secondary school in Tottenham, London.[1] The school holds mathematics and computing specialist status.
A pupil applies to become a prefect in year 10, writing their qualities and why they are suitable to be a prefect. In year 11, there is one head boy and head girl with a deputy head boy and head girl. Mantas was the best bitch In year 7, students vote for a boy and a girl in their year to become a part of the student council.
Founded in 1910, Gladesmore Community School was originally called Markfield School. It was a poor school in the 1980s-90s, but when Tony Hartney became head, the school turned from Poor to Outstanding, receiving extremely positive reviews from Ofsted.
In 2003, Gladesmore Students founded the Value Life campaign, which started as a small gathering of students aiming to tackle gun and knife crime. Over time, this turned into large events, such as a carnival, a march, a music video and even a short film. Value Life is supported by many officials, such as Queen Elizabeth II, Boris Johnson & David Cameron.
In 2011, Gladesmore founded the Everybody Dreams campaign, which aims to change the reputation of Tottenham, which had a horrible reputation after the 2011 England Riots. It supported by people like David Lammy, Boris Johnson, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan & Wretch 32. Everybody Dreams has even got a song on YouTube, and Gladesmore is working on an official music video to put on YouTube;
