About

edit

Welcome to my user page. I have been a writer my whole life.

I am advocating that the Wikipedia community to come up with better policies for notability regarding minorities that may have less journalistic and media coverage. I am contributing to increase the number of notable Women and People of Color on Wikipedia.

I am a polyglot -- English, Spanish, German and French. Currently, I am a professional genetic genealogist and YouTuber. I enjoyed updating Wikipedia with new information and learning along the way. I know basic html. I need help with navigating the talk pages and learning how to use categories and templates. I hope to add more to Wikipedia as I gain confidence on the platform.

Pages I've Started

edit

Amira de la Rosa - wrote the lyrics of the anthem of Barranquilla, Colombia

Paul Heidemann - German actor, comedian, opera singer and filmaker

Elisabeth Freundlich - Austria poet and journalist during the Nazi trials

June Marieezy - Filipino-American female musician

The Dancing Cansinos - Flameco dancers of Romani and Spanish heritage

Antonio Cansino - grandfather of Rita Hayworth - Romani and Spanish

Elias Cansino - aunt of Rita Hayworth

Helen Morgan - Helen was the wife of Maurice "Buddy" Maschke, the grandson of Maurice Maschke who is on my Project Bucket List

Ziegfeld Girls - The Maschke family of Ohio had two members in the Ziegfeld Girls: Helen Morgan and Helen Maschke (stage name: Marche)

Eduardo Cansino - father of Rita Hayworth

Rita Hayworth - added information about ancestral Spanish and Romani heritage

Sępólno Krajeńskie (aka Zempelburg) - town in NE Poland where my Jewish maternal grandfather was born

Grudziądz - town in the Vistula River and hometown of 19th century Jewish photographer Mortiz Maschke

Drafts In-Progress

edit

Joseph Raymond Lucero - copied to https://en.everybodywiki.com/Joseph_Raymond_Lucero until more sources can be found

Project Bucket List

edit

Maurice Maschke, Republic leader of Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

Helen Marche - A Maschke genelogist mentioned Marche was a Zeigfeld Girl. However, I have not yet found any evidence of this. Marche was in many musicals during a 5-year Broadway career. I am slowly hyperlinking and adding details for the shows she was in, in order to build a case for her notability.

Rudy Maschke - Influential photography publisher and Holocaust survivor

Mortiz Maschke - 19th Century Jewish Photographer
