Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, AmyMarchiando! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:
Hi BusterD, thank you for the welcome, resources and guidance. As you noted, I have a disclosed conflict of interest with LastPass. Currently, there is a "Security incidents" section on the LastPass page that relies heavily on primary sources, citations that are misrepresented, and other improper cites. Pursuant to WP:COI, I should not edit it myself. I have reached out to multiple editors asking for review and any changes they feel are warranted. I put together a detailed breakdown here. See Talk:LastPass#Poor_citations from November 2023. Would welcome your thoughts. AmyMarchiando (talk) 14:24, 16 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Please don't think I'm accusing you of any wrongdoing. I have added these two standard welcome templates because I thought they would provide useful information to a new user under your circumstances. Perhaps provide a basis for communication between us. For my part, WELCOME! I've looked over your edits and you've demonstrated to my satisfaction you're making a good faith effort to do the right thing here. Thank you. Truly. Please don't think I'm taking a side, but I do appreciate a declared coi user who's trying to follow our social norms, being patient, occasionally waving their hand. If you're willing to follow our pillars, policies and guidelines, I'll try to help you make good decisions. Cool? BusterD (talk) 23:18, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
