You have a Sandbox (see menu upper right). Cut all content from your User page and paste into your Sandbox. That is yours to edit, but it does not show up for any searches at Google or within Wikipedia. It's private. There is a way to submit it later as a draft of an article, to be reviewed before being moved to mainspace (or Declined). As for your User page, at Teahouse, click on editors' names to see what they have on their own User pages. It's optional - some have nothing. Some go perhaps too far decorating it with Userboxes. Alittle thing: Do not indent by a space or spaces at the beginning of content, as that creates something that looks like a quotation. On Talk pages, you can indent by putting one or more of : at the beginning. Those colons are invisible unless you are in edit mode. Examples:

Indent with two colons

Indent by a space

For any article, View history shows chronological list of changes. "prev" on the left shows a two-column, before-after of each change. Sometimes you can see an editor made an addition (green numbers) or deletion (red numbers) and the next editor reverted that exact amount to the earlier version. If this gets repeated, both editors can be temporarily blocked for 'edit warring.' Disputes are supposed to be worked out on the Talk pages of the articles.
