Sorry for my late response; I’ve been a little busy. Thank you for sending me that essay! I’ve always enjoyed reading your essays, and your essays on False Titles and Elegant Variation in particular have helped shaped my editing philosophy. Back to the hatnotes essay, agree with it for the most part, but I had never thought of the idea of having hatnotes on redirects. Hopefully they can become a thing one day!
