To all: Please note. I received the sad news that JohnCD has died suddenly from a heart attack. You can see the message from his son on my talk page. I hope that no one will be disturbed by my placing this news on his talk page for information. Donner60 (talk) 04:58, 8 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
I emailed the address JohnCD's son left and got a lovely reply from John's wife. She would like to pass on her thanks to the editors here who have spoken about John. It has given her comfort and pride to hear about his work and our impressions of him. She wanted to let every here know of her appreciation of our memories and thoughts. As many of us have lost people we all know how much it can help to hear about a loved one. ☕ Antiqueight haver 22:39, 11 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

I came across an edit where you removed a message, that was quite rude, from a new users talk page and replaced it with a kind welcome message with a personal note. I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness with which you addressed the new user, a reminder of the importance of WP:BITE Vinegarymass911 (talk) 23:51, 5 August 2019 (UTC)Reply |
