Originally a player at FC Mantois,[3] Belkhdim signed for Angers in 2020 after having scored a goal in a game against the club's reserve team in the Championnat National 2.[4] On 13 June 2022, he signed his first professional contract at Angers, a deal until 2025.[5][6] On 18 November 2023, he made his senior debut for the club in a 2–0 away win over Houilles AC in the seventh round of the Coupe de France.[7] In the second half of the 2023–24 season, his performances convinced Angers coach Alexandre Dujeux to play him in several Ligue 2 matches.[8]
In November 2021, Belkhdim was called up by the Morocco under-23s for the first time.[9][5]
