Street Requiem was composed by Kathleen McGuire, Andy Payne and Jonathon Welch. |
|||
It is a contemporary setting of a traditional requiem mass and aims to bring awareness about the communities struggling with violence either in the streets or in wars. |
|||
The evening will also feature special guests artists: David Shannon a well established West End artist, The Highland Divas from USA, the Choir With No Name and Battersea Choral Society. |
|||
Besides Street requiem, Teddington and Battersea choirs will perform other musical items. |
|||
The performances will be under the direction of Jonathon Welch and Sam Evans (Musical Director of both Teddington and Battersea choirs). |
|||
All proceeds will benefit London charities for the homeless included Choir With No Name. |
