This is list of extinct native Japanese horse breeds.

Ushi ウシウマ, Ushiuma Until 1950 Existed in Tanegashima, Kagoshima.[1] [2]
Kandachime 寒立馬, Kandachime Until 1960(As purebred) Shimokita Peninsula. [note 1] Horses living in the area today days aren't purebred. [3][4]
Nanbu 南部馬, Nanbu uma Until 1940 Was bred with Kandachime. Early form of Dosanko. [5][6]
Miharu 三春駒

Miharukoma

At least 1930 Existed in Fukushima Prefecture[note 2] and population was already in "decline" in 1915 and article from 1927 mentions that foreign breeds that have been imported to country for improve local stock and as racehorses. [7][8][9]
Noto 能登馬, Notouma At least 1920 Existed in Ishikawa Prefecture.[note 3] [10][11]
