Papyrus Oxyrhynchus 73 (P. Oxy. 73), a Registration of a Slave in the Greek language. The manuscript was written on papyrus in the form of a sheet. It was discovered by Grenfell and Hunt in 1897 in Oxyrhynchus. The document was written between 25 July – 28 August 94. Currently it is housed in the John Rylands University LibraryinManchester. The text was published by Grenfell and Hunt in 1898.[1]
The letter was addressed to an official, it is concerned to a slave. It was written by Thamounion and Dionysius. The measurements of the fragment are 227 by 71 mm.[2]
