On January 1, 2020, TBN resumed offering a 24-hour feed of JUCE on its multicast tier over the DT5 subchannel of its owned-and-operated stations, a flipped orientation from its former channel alignment prior to June 2015. The network occupies the former space assigned to TBN Salsa, which TBN removed from its broadcast stations in May 2019, temporarily replacing it with a placeholder standard definition simulcast of the main TBN network feed. Concurrently, Smile resumed airing full-time on the DT3 feed. Because both Smile and TBN's Saturday morning lineups contain more than enough children's programming compliant with the FCC's E/I guidelines, Positiv carries a full-time format of film programming.

Positiv (stylized as POSITiV) is a Christian television network owned and operated by the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Formerly as a youth-focused network in the past, it was aimed at teenagers and young adults between the ages of 13 and 30 years, and a format similar to MTV and MTVU, airing Christian music videos, and original content such as Christian-themed entertainment and lifestyle programming, along with some church services. In its current form, it mainly consists of a lineup of all Christian films, varying between smaller industry productions and major Hollywood studio productions.

Positiv is carried over-the-air on digital subchannels of TBN owned-and-operated and affiliated stations nationwide, usually on that station's fifth subchannel. Positiv is also available on pay television providers as well as on select digital streaming platforms that offer TBN's six U.S. networks.[1]

History

On January 26, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time (with the 2006 film Hidden Secrets as its first telecast), TBN launched the network as Positiv, a multicast service offering family-oriented and faith-based movies (including many titles in TBN's existing film library that had aired on the network under the JCTV/JUCE TV format).[2][3][4]
