Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 is a sequel to Toyko Xtreme Racer. The game was never released in Australia because of the poor response of the Dreamcast. Unlike the original game, Toyko Xtreme Racer 2 has been enhanced with better sound quality and graphics. This game managed to produce two more sequels. This is the last game in the series that was produced for Sega.

Sequels

In2001 Toyko Xtreme Racer: Zero a prequel that was created for Playstation 2, the game takes place before the events of the first game and has better graphics. This game was originally planned for release on Dreamcast but was scrapped. The game was only released in Japan and North America.
In2003 Toyko Xtreme Racer: 3 the third game was developed for Playstation 2. The game takes place after the events of previous games. The response to this game was poor and was a limited release. The game was released in Japan and some parts of North America.
