@Ingenuity: Clarification: So that means my one edit to WP:AN is it for that page or all talk pages? Also, is the 24 hours from the time I make the edit or are we setting it at 12 Midnight (cause the former would get confusing). I would be very very surprised if it meant 'one talk page comment anywhere on the site per day'; I am certain that it means 'one comment on any particular talk page'. So, you would be fine to post a suggestion for improving CheeseatTalk:Cheese, and also (on the same day) !vote in an RfC at Talk:Aardvark, and give your opinion of a source over at WP:RSN. Yep, Girth Summit is right - one edit per page per 24-hour period. By "24-hour period" it means you can edit again once 24 hours have passed since your previous edit (so not one edit at 23:59, and another two minutes later at 00:01). — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 15:00, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome back... It's great to see you. I think you'll be interested to hear that Newspapers.com has added many of the Lee Enterprises-owned papers in Virginia; WVIR-TV hit DYK this week, and not long ago Charlottesville was an unthinkable market for me to write. Thanks! :) I did not know ab out Lee being on Newspapers.com. I can't remember if I have an account for them or not. :) Anyway, Charlottesville and nearby Harrisonburg are odd markets. WVIR, technically, has served Harrisonburg as the default NBC affiliate for years. Both carried Oprah, both carried Wheel/Jeopardy, both carried Live (still carry the latters). Now, WVIR feeds WSVW-LD with news and NBC programming, but different syndicated programming. WHSV (Harrisonburg) and WVIR (Charlottesville) are owned by Gray Television, as you know. The other oddity is WCAV. The CBS affiliate for Charlottesville doesn't make it over the mountain to Harrisonburg...and they like it. They intentionally focus on Charlottesville and, to my knowledge, seem to be out-performing the once unbeatable WVIR. With the exception of Live, Wheel, and Jeopardy, they have basically stolen away all of the syndicated programming and parked it on Charlottesville's WVAW-LD, the city's co-owned ABC affiliate. @APK: I knew they took down the tower, but I wasn't aware they took down the studio too. So stupid that they are putting up more townhouses. The ones are Millwood and Cameron are finished, but don't have anyone in them. They are renting for $2000+/month and were purchased for $400,000.
