Thanks, SusunW (talk) 21:08, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

SusunW, the article should be available through EBSCO in The Wikipedia Library: try copying the title into the new search bar at the top of this page. If that doesn't work, just email me and I'll send you the PDF. Best regards, Extraordinary Writ (talk) 21:16, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Two pages in a French book

{{resolved}}

  • Patrick Gaumer, «Hans», in Dictionnaire mondial de la BD, Paris, Larousse, 2010 ISBN 9782035843319, p. 401-402

For Hans (comic book). Google Books has no preview.

Thanks, Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:17, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Piotrus: is it still open? Doc Taxon (talk) 09:12, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Getting a French book is a longshot; I posted at WT:FRANCE but nothing. Maybe I should ask at fr wikipedia? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:48, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Piotrus: maybe I can get it for you, wait for it Doc Taxon (talk) 18:02, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Doc Taxon If you get the entire book, can you check if it says anything about The Gods from Outer Space (French title CEUX VENUS DE L’ESPACE, part 1 BASE DANS LES ANDES) and fr:Le Grand Pouvoir du Chninkel (on my to do list). I'll also take whatever it says for Thorgal, which I am sure will be covered. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:53, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
no, but if so, let's wait on Hans (comic book) and I try to get the whole Dictionnaire. But I can't promise to get it yet. Doc Taxon (talk) 14:19, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Piotrus: email me if you'd like to see what the 1997 edition says about Hans and Thorgal. --Worldbruce (talk) 05:57, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Emailed, tnx! Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:56, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting articles for several Latin pop songs of 1998

{{resolved}} I am requesting articles for several Latin pop songs that were hits in 1998. I will group songs from the same album together:

"Esperanza" / "Nunca Te Olvidaré by Enrique Iglesias
"Dejaría Todo" by Chayanne
"Corazon Partido" / "Amiga Mia" by Alejandro Sanz
"Clavado en un Bar"

Thanks, Erick (talk) 03:57, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Magiciandude: Yes Sent the ones I could easily find, which were all of the "Esperanza" ones, #3 for "Dejaría Todo", both of the "Corazon Partido" ones, and #1 and #2 for "Clavado en un Bar". DanCherek (talk) 22:10, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DanCherek: Thanks! The article for "Clavado en un Bar" with Mario Tarradell's review is missing a line from the ProQuest article: "the CD's lead single, is a propulsive, pop-punk track guaranteed to induce..." Erick (talk) 00:18, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I don't understand the question, or maybe I'm looking at a different ProQuest version than you? When I click on [1] I see an abstract that starts with "Suenos Liquidos recalls the pop-friendly sound..." and ends with "...acts languishing in obscurity." but doesn't contain the sentence you mentioned. DanCherek (talk) 02:28, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DanCherek: Could be the latter (a different version of the article). I found that sentence on when I was searching on ProQuest. See if that works. Erick (talk) 14:31, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I see it now. My guess is it's some kind of subheadline, but I don't know how to get the rest of it. DanCherek (talk) 14:43, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@DanCherek: That's fine, I'll strike it down anyways. Let me get back to you to check on the other articles. Erick (talk) 00:39, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Magiciandude: I sent you some of these, although I fear all I did was partially or entirely duplicative of DanCherek's work. Can you strike out the requests you no longer need, to clarify what part of your request is still open? John M Baker (talk) 01:08, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Erick: Sent 7: all 3 for "Esperanza", #1 for "Dejaría Todo", remaining 2 for "Corazon Partido", and #2 for "Clavado en un Bar". --Worldbruce (talk) 17:14, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
