The Men's Javelin Throw event at the 2005 World Championships in Athletics was held at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium on August 9 and August 10.

Notes[edit]

  1. ^ Shaka Sola, a shot putter who missed the shot event at the World Championships, was allowed to compete in javelin throw instead. Trying javelin for the first time, he naturally finished far behind the other athletes.
