The 2008 Girls' Youth South American Volleyball Championship was the 16th edition of the tournament, organised by South America's governing volleyball body, the Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol (CSV). Held in Lima and PucallpainPeru. The top two teams qualified for the 2009 Youth World Championship.[1]

Competing nations[edit]

The following national teams participated in the tournament, teams were seeded according to how they finished in the previous edition of the tournament with host Peru being seeded first:
